Music Forum Hradec Králové 2022 - XVIII. year
The Music Forum Hradec Králové festival is organized by the FHK in cooperation with Czech Radio 3 - Vltava. It has a firm place on the Czech music scene and is becoming increasingly well-known abroad. The concerts are broadcast live by Czech Radio or taken over by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) for its network. The dramaturgy is based mainly on orchestral and large-scale works by contemporary world composers. Music is combined with modern technologies - lighting design, animation, video projection, visual technologies and a movement component. This year, the festival has come of age!

The project is part of the "Europe for Citizens" challenge and is organized by six countries (Italy, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Poland and the Czech Republic). The unifying element of the project is the commemoration of six important personalities from six countries. Each personality received its symbolic flower. The basic idea of the project is: "From totalitarian regimes to a peaceful and democratic Europe." It emphasizes the principle of "non-violence".

HRADECKÝ MEMORIAL
This year, the 6th year of this festival is taking place with the subtext "Not Expired - Modern History by Music, Word and Image". Concerts, exhibitions, discussions and lectures are held throughout the year. Many important musicians have already performed at the festival, the compositions of important composers are heard and many celebrities have spoken. At the beginning, we formulated the idea of this project as follows: "Freedom and democracy are not self-evident. There are still those who want to gain the unjustified power to decide the fates of others. There are demagogues offering unattainableand authoritarian leaders with a desire "to rule with a firm hand for the good of us all". HRADECKÝ MEMORIÁL recalls by the attractive form of historical experience and the fragility of democracy. How up to date today!
